A lot has been said and discussed post the untimely demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Several people have also come up and spoke about how bad Bollywood is behind all its glitz and glamour. Bollywood actor Sonu Sood in an interview with daily said that the situation after the sad demise has got out of control with the becoming a topic of prime time discussion.

Sonu Sood said that he feels sad seeing these debates and interviews. The actor said that a lot of his family members who are not from the film industry react in a very emotional manner when they see such news.

Sonu also spoke about how celebrities need to be mindful of what they do and say. He said that celebrities don't realize how their words are going to affect a common man in the country because he believes in you. The Dabangg actor said that celebrities are an inspiration to millions and that they have a huge responsibility. He also said that some people just to get media attention go overboard which is sad. The actor wishes that the industry reacted to the current situation in a more intelligent manner than they did.

Tandav controversy: Supreme Court refuses to grant protection from arrest to makers; says freedom of speech is not absolute January 27, 2021 at 04:37PM

On Wednesday while hearing pleas seeking stay on FIRs against actors and producers of the web series Tandav , the Supreme Court said that freedom of speech is not absolute. A bench headed by Ashok Bhushan said that the petitioners should go to the high courts to seek quashing of these cases. The court also refused to grant protection from arrest to the makers of Tandav against whom FIRs have been filed. The case was heard by a bench of justices Ashok Bhushan, RS Reddy and MR Shah. Senior advocates Fali S Nariman, Mukul Rohatgi and Siddharth Luthra cited the recent judgement of the top court in Arnab Goswami's case during the hearing. "Is this way liberty should be protected in the country and FIRs are being filed across the country," Luthra said adding that the director of the web series, Ali Abbas Zafar, is being harassed. Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process.
