Rhea Chakraborty has been under the radar for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death as a prime suspect after his father filed an FIR against the actress. She has been under rigourous questioning and interrogation regarding the case by multiple agencies, including the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation. Today, there were allegations by Sushant Singh Rajput’s roommate, Siddharth Pithani, that Rhea Chakraborty called an IT person and wiped around 8 hard drives clean.

When Rhea Chakraborty was questioned by Aaj Tak regarding the same, she said, “It’s a completely baseless allegation. There is no hard drive that I am aware of, theirs is no person who came in to do anything till the time I was there. If something like that has happened, then his sister who was there from June 8 to 13, will be able to answer these questions. But I will not hesitate to question Siddharth Pithani regarding this.”

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise.
