Rhea Chakraborty is currently on a severe trial right now as soon as the news broke out regarding the FIR filed against her. Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has taken a huge toll and has given rise to multiple questions regarding the industry as well. Before the Central Bureau of Investigation has given a final verdict on the case, a lot of people have considered Rhea Chakraborty guilty of abetment of suicide.

Rhea Chakraborty says the media trial is a witch hunt

Speaking to Aaj Tak about it, Rhea Chakraborty said that, “This is clearly a witch hunt. Without any proof, people have begun questioning me and targeting me where they have declared me as the criminal. This is what I’m getting for being in love with him, we’re just two innocent people who are in love with each other”.

The actress is now clarifying all the allegations and is presenting her side of the story to the channel.

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake.
