Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 shoot to resume by July first week June 20, 2020 at 08:58AM

The makers of the upcoming film Sadak 2 directed by Mahesh Bhatt had only a song shoot left when the pandemic hit the nation and everything came to a halt. It has been three months since the lockdown, and the industry is slowly resuming work while following strict guidelines as directed by the Maharashtra Government.

According to reports, Mukesh Bhatt, the co-producer of Sadak 2, plans to resume shooting by the first week of July. The movie starring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt might be one of the first Bollywood films to roll. The special song featuring the four leads was initially supposed to be shot in Ooty, but the makers are now making changes in the track to shoot it in Mumbai.

Bhatt said that they got a go-ahead from the Film City and are currently determining which studio they can shoot in. They will also need to build a small set for the song.

The beginning of a new year brings a lot of positivity and hope, and also ushers in the awards season. However, 2021 might be an exception in this regard. The Coronavirus pandemic has led to a lot of change in the status quo of all fields and Bollywood is no exception. With the disease still not in control, the battle against the virus will continue in 2021 as well. Only Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari released in this season and a couple of ...

As Yash Raj Films clocks 50 years of excellence and supremacy, the scion of the empire Aditya Chopra and his intellectual team has come together to thresh out a string of commemorative projects including a grand bio-pic on the founding father of the banner Yash Chopra. Though not much detail is known of the bio-pic as yet I have reason to believe Aditya Chopra is very seriously looking into the project, as he and all likeminded fans of Yash Chopra believe the filmmaker’s saga of self-motivated success is exemplary. And who better qualified to play Yash Chopra than Shah Rukh Khan? Though the casting is yet to be finalized SRK seems the perfect fit, being the favourite actor of father Yash and son Aditya Chopra. Other commemorative projects to mark 50 years of Yash Raj include new film projects that will launch new talent. Aditya Chopra has always been at the forefront of new-talent endeavours. Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra are among Chopra’s recent discoveries. “We will be seei...
