Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Abhishek Singh, who is currently posted as Deputy Commissioner in Delhi had recently helped the popular actress Deepika Singh and her mother by ensuring timely hospital admission during the state of a Pandemic. While he is all set to make his acting debut with the second season of Netflix' crime drama Delhi Crime, he has again set an example by putting together an organisation called 'SIGMA' (Students for Involved Governance and Mutual Action).

SIGMA is a one-of-a-kind, innovative, independent and voluntary student-run' think tank. It was started by a group of students of IIM Ahmedabad along with IAS Officer, Mr Abhishek Singh & Ms Durga Shakti Nagpal. At present, it has members from India's premier institutions such as IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, St. Stephen's College and Tata Institute Of Social Sciences, Mumbai among others. Their principal goal is to create a platform to leverage the fresh perspective of India's students for effective and innovative governance. The current project SIGMA is working upon is for the welfare of the migrant workers. SIGMA has recently launched an Ekatra helpline number for workers and employers in Delhi NCR, aiming to solve the labour demand-supply mismatch, which has been a pertinent issue in the post lockdown scenario.

Well, that's not it, popular and talented actor John Abraham during the launch of the helpline number had a discussion with IAS officer Abhishek Singh and the Popular actor has offered to volunteer for the cause whenever required! Sharing his thoughts on the initiative taken, Abhishek Singh, "The pandemic has affected a lot of sections in our society, especially the lower strata. This initiative with help of the students from multiple renowned colleges would extend a support to the local workers as well as the migrant workers to find employment conveniently. I hope that we achieve what we have targeted for and we can further extend our support to different cities across our country."

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake. The next day Sawant woke up at 5.30 am and an hour later after his morning rituals he went up to the actor's room as usual. When Sawant went to the room, he saw that the actor was up and asked him if he would like to have his breakfast and tea, wh...
