Kunal Kemmu and Vidyut Jammwal speak up after being left out from Disney + Hotstar press conference June 29, 2020 at 07:54PM

Disney+ Hotstar, today, announced seven films that will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar Multiplex between July and October. A number of films including Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj – The Pride Of India, Sadak 2, Dil Bechara, The Big Bull, Khuda Haafiz, and Lootcase. All the leading men of the films were in attendance during the virtual press conference on June 29 including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan.  But, Kunal Kemmu and Vidyut Jammwal were missing from the said conference that was being hosted by Varun Dhawan.

Vidyut Jammwal, whose film Khuda Haafiz was announced, expressed his displeasure on social media by saying, “A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES.”

Kunal Kemmu also took to Twitter but without mentioning the streaming giant, expressed his views. “Izzat aur pyaar maanga nahi kamaya jaata hai. Koi na de toh usse hum chhote nahi hote. Bas maidaan khelne ke liye barabar de do chhalaang hum bhi oonchi laga sakte hai (Respect and love can never be asked for, only earned. If someone doesn’t give it to you, it doesn’t make you small. Just give us an equal playing field, we’ll show you how high we can leap),” he wrote in his tweet.

Khuda Haafiz is a romantic action thriller inspired by real-events starring Anuu Kapoor, Shivaleeka Oberoi, Shiv Panditt, and Aahana Kumra. The film is written & directed by Faruk Kabir and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.

Lootcase is a comedy thriller starring Rasika Dugal, Gajraj Rao, Ranvir Shorey and Vijay Raaz. The film is Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, written by Rajesh Krishnan and Kapil Sawant, Produced by Fox Star Studios and Soda Films.

The first movie to premiere will be Dil Bechara, starring late Sushant Singh Rajput; and to commemorate his invaluable contribution to the Hindi cinema.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake. The next day Sawant woke up at 5.30 am and an hour later after his morning rituals he went up to the actor's room as usual.
