Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus directed by Rohit Shetty to release on 31 December 2021 February 23, 2021 at 08:58PM

There's an influx of release date announcements from the Indian film industry. With the lockdown eased out and the Centre allowing theatres to operate at 100 percent capacity, production houses have announced the release dates for their upcoming slate of films! Now, according to our sources Rohit Shetty's next titled Cirkus starring Ranveer Singh also has a release date.

According to our sources, the makers of Cirkus are all set to end the year with the release of their film. Starring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma in prominent roles, the film is all set to be released on  31 December, 2021.

The film is based on The Comedy of Errors, which inspired the Gulzar cult comedy, Angoor and is set in the 1960s’. The shooting of the film is going on in full swing in Mumbai and the makers are expected to wrap up by next month.

While an official confirmation of the release date is awaited, our source has confirmed the same. Previously, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty had collaborated for the super successful Simmba which had also released in the last week of December of 2018. Looks like the duo is all set to recreate the magic once again.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake.
