Akshay Kumar’s Bellbottom to clash with Vin Diesel starrer Fast And Furious 9 at the box office February 20, 2021 at 10:24AM

Akshay Kumar has been on a roll with back-to-back shoots and releases this year. Starring in Bellbottom, Akshay’s film became the only one to have completed the shoot during COVID-19 without a single case on the sets. The producers and makers are to be lauded for this feat and only recently was the release date of this film announced. Bellbottom will be based in the early 60s era and Akshay Kumar starrer will yet again have a clash at the box office.

With theatres opening up at full capacity after almost a year, Akshay Kumar starrer Bellbottom will release on May 28, 2021. However, it will be clashing with Vin Diesel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson starrer Fast And Furious 9: The Fast Saga. While the film was to release last year, the widespread of COVID-29 delayed the release by almost a year. Both the films will be releasing on May 28, 2021. With the films being headed by Bollywood and Hollywood biggies, the audience is going to have a tough time picking one of them.

Apart from Bellbottom, Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj will be clashing with Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey on Diwali this year.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment.
