First teaser of Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi to release on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday February 22, 2021 at 12:44PM

On February 24, as Sanjay Leela Bhansali turns a year older, his production house will release the first teaser of Bhansali’s Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi which is almost complete.

The teaser will set the mood for the trailer that will come out in April. A source reveals, “Sanjay feels it is too early to put out a teaser as the release date is yet to be decided. But his team feels his birthday is a good time for his latest film to be introduced to the public. Hence, the first teaser on February 24.”

While the public reaction to the teaser will soon be known, it is believed by those close to Bhansali that Gangubai Kathiawadi is his best work to date and that Alia Bhatt has given a performance that would knock the ball out of the park.”

Irrfan Khan to be seen on the silver screen in 2021 with the release of The Song of Scorpions December 28, 2020 at 07:02PM

Actor Irrfan Khan, who passed away in April this year, will be seen on the silver screen for one last time in 2021. The actor's last film titled The Song of Scorpions will release in theatres next year. The Song of Scorpions was first premiered in 2017 at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. Written and directed by Anup Singh, the film will be released in early 2021. Abhishek Pathak, producer and director at Panorama Spotlight, in a statement said, "We will be offering this film to the audiences as a tribute to the beloved star of Indian cinema. The era of cinema in India and abroad has benefitted from his acting prowess and we're happy to have canvassed his swansong."
