Vikram Bhatt teams up with Sunny Leone for his next web series titled Anamika December 21, 2020 at 02:56PM

The year 2020 was tough for everyone but seems like it will be a busy year end for director Vikram Bhatt as he starts shoot for his next series Anamika with none other than Sunny Leone in lead.

Anamika is a Gun Fu action series which will have 10 episodes. Sunny Leone will be seen in an avatar never seen before. The series will be shot in Mumbai. The first schedule will mostly be wrapped mostly by the end of 2020.

Informing about same, Vikram Bhatt says, "Due to lock down the process of shooting was on hold for some time. But the industry never stops working. So here we are back where we love to work." Adding to it he said, "We have just started shooting with Sunny and it has been a great as well as an exciting start. The audience will have a delight to watch Sunny doing a blend of martial with firearms. This action series is going to be a thrilling project."

Written and directed by Vikram Bhatt. Produced under the banner of Loneranger by Vikram Bhatt and Krishna Bhatt. Set to release on MX player.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process.
