Parineeti Chopra, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol join Ranbir Kapoor’s next with Sandeep Reddy Vanga December 30, 2020 at 08:58PM

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor confirmed that he will be starring in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next. The makers will be making an official announcement of the film on January 1 at 12:01 am. Ahead of the formal announcement, it has come to light that the film will have an ensemble cast.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film will also star Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Parineeti Chopra.The film which is a crime drama will go on floors in mid-next year. This is a genre that Ranbir has hardly explored and is always ready to expand his horizons.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga shot to fame with the super success of Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh that was released in 2019. Vanga had also directed the original Telugu film titled Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda.

The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Vanga. This movie will mark the 2nd collaboration of the director with Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar alongside Pranay Reddy Vanga of Bhadrakali Pictures. The team will reveal a surprise video to commence the new year on a positive note. The audience will have a surprise announcement video awaiting for them on the 1st day of 2021 at 12:01 am on Tseries' official YouTube channel.

Irrfan Khan to be seen on the silver screen in 2021 with the release of The Song of Scorpions December 28, 2020 at 07:02PM

Actor Irrfan Khan, who passed away in April this year, will be seen on the silver screen for one last time in 2021. The actor's last film titled The Song of Scorpions will release in theatres next year. The Song of Scorpions was first premiered in 2017 at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. Written and directed by Anup Singh, the film will be released in early 2021. Abhishek Pathak, producer and director at Panorama Spotlight, in a statement said, "We will be offering this film to the audiences as a tribute to the beloved star of Indian cinema. The era of cinema in India and abroad has benefitted from his acting prowess and we're happy to have canvassed his swansong."
