Rakul Preet Singh tests positive for COVID-19 December 22, 2020 at 03:34PM

Actor Rakul Preet Singh who recently started shooting for her upcoming project MayDay has tested positive for COVID-19. On Tuesday afternoon, she took to her social media handle to inform all about the same.

"I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thank you and Please stay safe," she wrote on Instagram and Twitter.

Ever since the lockdown restrictions were lifted, Rakul has been on sets of her upcoming films wrapping her projects. She will next be seen in a cross border love story titled Sardar and Grandson. The film also stars John Abraham, Aditi Rao Hydari and Arjun Kapoor. Meanwhile, MayDay also stars Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan as well.

Irrfan Khan to be seen on the silver screen in 2021 with the release of The Song of Scorpions December 28, 2020 at 07:02PM

Actor Irrfan Khan, who passed away in April this year, will be seen on the silver screen for one last time in 2021. The actor's last film titled The Song of Scorpions will release in theatres next year. The Song of Scorpions was first premiered in 2017 at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. Written and directed by Anup Singh, the film will be released in early 2021. Abhishek Pathak, producer and director at Panorama Spotlight, in a statement said, "We will be offering this film to the audiences as a tribute to the beloved star of Indian cinema. The era of cinema in India and abroad has benefitted from his acting prowess and we're happy to have canvassed his swansong."
