Randeep Hooda says that he has not watched Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari because it didn’t excite him much March 23, 2020 at 01:22PM

Randeep Hooda is one of the most dedicated actors of the industry who happens to get into the skin of his character in no time. The actor has changed his physique according to the roles' requirements as and when necessary. As it was known to all, Randeep Hooda was to play the lead role in Battle Of Saragarhi, but the film was shelved after Akshay Kumar’s Kesari with Anurag Singh as the director was announced. The actor got in a candid conversation with a leading tabloid and spoke about the shelved project.

When asked about how upsetting it was to have the movie shelved, he said that it definitely hurt because the audience did not get to see the more authentic version with more real emotions to the story. He also said that he has moved on from it and he’s a better person now because he learnt the principles of Sikhism. When asked if he has watched Akshay Kumar’s film, he said he hasn’t because it did not excite him as much. Randeep Hooda will next be seen in Mard, a quirky script and is also said to be seen in Unfair and Lovely with Ileana D’Cruz.

Randeep Hooda was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal with Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process.
