Emraan Hashmi spent his birthday under lockdown; hopes this is the only one March 26, 2020 at 03:52PM

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi turned 41 on Tuesday. With the city under lockdown, the actor celebrated his birthday at home and hopes that he does not have to do that ever again. Talking to a tabloid, Emraan said that it is a strange time we are living in and hopes that it is the only birthday he is spending in quarantine.

Emraan spent his birthday reading and watching a film. His wife Parveen baked him a cake, son Aryaan helped in baking the cake and also made his father a card. Emraan said that ordering food from outside was out of the question and they spoke to a few of their friends lining in the UK and US via video call.

The actor who wishes to stay positive during this time of crisis said that being locked up in our homes we have rediscovered family time. He said that in usual circumstances our busy schedules do not offer this luxury.

On the work front, the actor will next be seen playing a cop in Sanjay Gupta's film Mumbai Saga in which he will be seen alongside John Abraham.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake.
