Kapil Sharma steps up to donate Rs. 50 lakhs amid Coronavirus pandemic March 26, 2020 at 03:11PM

The celebrities are now stepping up to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. As the country is tackling the deadly issue, well-known personalities are contributing in every way possible to help fight the Coronavirus. Comedian Kapil Sharma has announced that he has contributed Rs. 50 lakhs to help those in need.

Taking to Twitter, the comedian revealed that he is donating towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s relief fund. “It's time to stand together with the ones who need us. Contributing Rs.50 lakhs to the PM relief fund towards the #fightagainstcorona. Request everyone to #stayhome #staysafe #jaihind #PMrelieffund @narendramodi,” he wrote on Instagram.

Earlier in the day, it was revealed that South superstars Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan have also made huge donations. Kalyan donated overall Rs. 2 crore whereas Charan made his debut on Twitter in which he announced Rs. 70 lakhs as his contribution.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day lockdown in the country for the next three weeks as the coronavirus spread across the country rapidly. The cases in India has crossed the mark of 500.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake.
