Karan Kundrra joins hands with Uday Foundation to help COVID-19 patients with oximeters and medicines May 26, 2021 at 12:34PM

In the ongoing crisis, where the nation is severely affected by the second wave of the novel coronavirus, many celebrities have come forward to help the people in need. Karan Kundrra is also one of the few celebrities who has been actively helping people out.

Karan Kundrra joins hands with Uday Foundation to help COVID-19 patients with oximeters and medicines

Recently, while talking to a leading daily Karan Kundra shared that he has joined hands with Uday Foundation to provide help to the Covid-19 victims. He also revealed how the Cyclone was a barrier in his mission.

Karan, who is currently shooting for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehelata Hai in Silvassa, said that they had a very bad network due to the cyclone and lost almost all communication for almost 4 days. The actor was not even able to connect with his parents. Karan shared that he and his foundation have been trying to repost and re-share people’s needs and queries about whatever they were facing difficulty with, during these pandemic times and are also looking to contribute something big.

On joining hands with Uday Foundation, Karan revealed that they have been providing wellness kits, medicines for Covid patients and distributing oximeters.

He also said that as soon as he got to find out about the Uday Foundation, he found out that they were really legit and that’s when he decided to went ahead and made a contribution. A lot of Karan's family members are also in the medical field and already been helping out in shipping oxygen concentrators and other things. Uday Foundation also has a social media base to ensure that the right people are connected with each other.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14.
