Gurmeet Choudhary organises oxygen concentrators from Indonesia to reach India and launches the Gurmeet Choudhary Foundation May 31, 2021 at 06:57PM

Gurmeet Choudhary has had sleepless nights, travelled to places far and wide to help activate the COVID-19 relief efforts and ensure that hospitals are opened and running in remote parts of the nation. The actor not only has been helping in fighting against this deadly virus but also has been preparing to strengthen the future of the health care system of the nation.

Gurmeet has successfully arranged for oxygen concentrators with the help of India Club Jakarta (Indonesia) and in association with Medscape India, a fellow organisation working for providing relief for COVID-19 (Radiologist, Founder Chairperson Dr. Sunita Dube) and Gurmeet Choudhary Foundation. The oxygen concentrators have reached India and will surely go a long way in the COVID-19 campaign. It will be provided to rural areas which are currently facing a difficult time.


With the help of India Club Jakarta, a nonprofit organization, functioning as Perkumpulan (Association) in Jakarta-Indonesia, Gurmeet and his team have managed to get the oxygen concentrators for the nation.

The India Club Jakarta works in close Cooperation with Indian Embassy in Jakarta and also acts as a bridge for the India-Indonesia people and has been working relentlessly towards community welfare. The India Club along with Medscape India has played an important role in getting the oxygen concentrators in India from Indonesia.

Pushing his already full envelope further, the Bollywood actor has also launched the Gurmeet Choudhary Foundation, an association that aims to help people. Right from stabilising the health care system and working towards its future, launching hospitals in tier 2 cities and beyond, to reaching out to all the possible nations for help, Gurmeet has been going an extra mile in helping his nation in this fight against virus.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake.
