Sonu Sood launches free COVID help; includes doctor consultation and COVID-19 test April 27, 2021 at 07:35PM

Actor Sonu Sood has been out on the field helping people in need ever since a nationwide lockdown was announced in March 2020. What started with helping migrant workers reach their destination, Sood has expanded his wings with like minded people and organisations to provide help to people across the country. Now, with the country witnessing a brutal second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Sonu Sood has launched free COVID-19 help.

Sonu Sood launches free COVID help ; includes doctor consultation and COVID-19 test

On Tuesday evening, Sonu Sood took to his Twitter handle to announce the launch of free COVID help which includes free doctor consultations and testing for the virus. He has done this under his foundation named Sood Foundation in collaboration with Heal Well 24 and Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt Ltd.

Announcing the same, Sonu wrote, "You, take REST. Let me handle the TEST. Launching FREE COVID HELP with @HealWell24 @Krsnaa_D@SoodFoundation"


Apart from this, Sonu Sood along with his team has been helping out people with arranging oxygen cylinders, checking for bed availability in hospitals and helping get medicines. With over three lakh cases reported each day in the past couple of days in the country, the healthcare system has been facing a massive shortage of supplies.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake.
