India is currently facing the worst of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. Life as we know it has come to a halt. Owing to the curfews in several parts of the country, film shoots have also taken a hit. Raj Mehta's directorial Jug Jugg Jeeyo is facing yet another roadblock because of COVID.

In December, the Chandigarh schedule of the film was halted for two weeks after lead actors Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor and director Mehta had tested positive for COVID-19. Now, the film also starring Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Prajakta Koli has hit a roadblock with the janta curfew in Maharashtra.

Raj Mehta, while talking to a tabloid said that he had fixed the second schedule of the film for April. He said that almost 60 percent of the film is left to shoot and they were supposed to shoot this month. The team has no option but to delay the Mumbai schedule and seek a fresh set of combination dates from the actors. He said that they had shot the first schedule right after the first wave of pandemic and it was difficult as they had cases on the set.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake. The next day Sawant woke up at 5.30 am and an hour later after his morning rituals he went up to the actor's room as usual.
