The cast and crew of Kaashvie Nair's directorial debut, Sardar Ka Grandson recently carried out a huge campaign and presented themselves as true nature’s warriors while they were on the sets. The film is a fine blend of comedy and emotions. It is not just the journey of a house from Lahore to Amritsar, but a journey of two nations from disharmony to peace.

The entire cast and crew of coming of age, family comedy-drama, Sardar Ka Grandson was seen making joint efforts to save the environment. Veteran actress Neena Gupta who is an active supporter of the same shared her experience. Talking about the wonderfully executed campaign on sets she said, “I am truly overwhelmed by the commendable effort made by the cast and crew in support of something which is the need of the hour. 557 trees have been planted for Sun Bears in West Siang, Arunachal Pradesh, one in the name of each member of the cast and crew. I am proud to be part of such a good cause and hope that everyone continues to do their bit in saving the environment.“

The story talks about thinking of the impossible and achieving it. It is the coming of age of a boy and his grandmother’s last wish. Netflix’s upcoming film Sardar Ka Grandson promises warmth, love, and celebration of the bonds within a large Punjabi family.

Bringing together some of the finest talents from the country, the film is produced by Emmay Entertainment and directed by Kaashvi Nair - set to release on May 18, 2021, only on Netflix. The talented ensemble cast comprises Neena Gupta, Arjun Kapoor, Rakulpreet Singh, Kanlwajit Singh, John Abraham, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Kumud Mishra.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake. The next day Sawant woke up at 5.30 am and an hour later after his morning rituals he went up to the actor's room as usual.
