Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda starrer 14 Phere to go on floors on November 10 October 27, 2020 at 05:00PM

On August 15, Zee Studios announced its next production, a social comedy, 14 Phere directed by Devanshu Singh. The film will feature Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda who will be pairing up for the first time. The film is all set to go on floors on November 10.

Reportedly, the first schedule will take place in the city in a bungalow in Madh Island and in Kamalistan Studio. The lead pair will be joined by the supporting cast which includes Gauahar Khan, Vinay Pathak, Yamini Das, and Vineet Kumar.

Talking about the film, Shariq Patel, CEO, Zee Studios said, “14 Phere is an important film that beautifully captures the heart and heartland of India—it’s a quirky, contemporary, emotional and relevant film which also highlights how weddings, most often, happen between two families, not just two people. We needed a fresh, new pairing and we couldn’t have been happier to have Vikrant and Kriti on board!”

Produced by Zee Studios, 14 Phere, starring Vikrant Massey & Kriti Kharbanda, directed by Devanshu Singh and written by Manoj Kelwani, is slated to release on July 9, 2021.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process.
