Tahir Raj Bhasin, Mouni Roy, and Neha Sharma to star in Milan Luthria's show based on Arnab Ray's book Sultan of Delhi: Ascension November 26, 2021 at 06:53PM

Filmmaker Milan Luthria who is credited with films like Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, The Dirty Picture, Taxi No. 9211, among others is currently awaiting the release of his next titled Tadap. It is the remake of the Telugu film RX 100 and stars Tara Sutaria and debutant Ahan Shetty. After the release of the film, Luthria will dive straight into a web series he is creating for Disney+Hotstar.

Reportedly, Milan Luthria is making a show based on Arnab Ray's book 'Sultan of Delhi: Ascension'. The show will star Tahir Raj Bhasin, Neha Sharma, and Mouni Roy in lead roles. The crime fiction narrated the story of the son of a penniless refugee from Lahore who works his way up from being an arms smuggler in Uttar Pradesh to the most influential power broker in Delhi. However, he finds himself in the biggest battle of his life when his past catches up with him.

The book Sultan of Delhi spans five decades and two generations and is a saga of ambition, greed, love, and passion. The show will be produced by Reliance Entertainment and an official announcement regarding the same will be made soon.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14.
