EXCLUSIVE: Tara Sutaria to make an announcement soon; says “It is very contrasting to the couple of releases I have lined up” November 26, 2021 at 03:00PM

Tara Sutaria has multiple films in the pipeline with Ek Villain Returns being one of her most anticipated films. She will be seen opposite Arjun Kapoor in the multi-starrer film which also stars John Abraham and Disha Patani. Tara is eagerly awaiting the release of the film as she will turn playback singer with Ek Villain Returns. For the unversed, Tara has been a professional singer from a very young age and has sung at operas and at competitions.

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Tara shared, “I am very grateful that in Villain 2 I am singing a lot. I am really excited about that and eagerly awaiting for that. I want to see that grow alongside my acting career- my music career. I have a lot that I have planned for next year.”

Directed by Mohit Suri, Ek Villain Returns is a sequel to Suri’s 2014 film Ek Villain. The music of the film composed by Mithoon, Ankur Tewari, and the band Soch went on to become chartbusters and won several awards. ‘Galliyaan’, ‘Zarorat’ and ‘Humdard’ were some of the memorable tracks from the film.

Tara also revealed that she has an announcement coming up regarding a project that will see her in a completely different light. “It is fun to get to be someone completely different and choose films that probably I might have earlier thought I would not do. But as I am growing with this journey and learning so much about who I want to be in the industry and how I want to portray myself. I am learning that I really enjoy being a part of commercial cinema and I actually do have an announcement that I will come out with soon and that is very contrasting to the couple of releases I have lined up,” she said.


Meanwhile, Tara Sutaria will next be seen in the film Tadap opposite debutant Ahan Shetty. Directed by Milan Luthria, the film will be released in theatres on December 3.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake.
