Priyanka Chopra just dropped 'Chopra Jonas' from her name on Twitter and Instagram handles sparking divorce rumours with her popstar husband Nick Jonas. Netizens started speculating that the couple is headed for separation after three years of marriage. Her name on the social media handles read as Priyanka. But, there is no truth to these rumours.

As per reports, the actress reportedly has removed her surname from her social media handles as she wants to move forward with her first name for her future projects. The actress has not just dropped Jonas but also Chopra from her social media handles. Responding to a tabloid, her mother Madhu Chopra also denied these rumours of separation.

Amid these speculations, on November 22, Priyanka Chopra dropped the character poster of The Matrix Resurrections. Co-written, and directed by Lana Wachowski, Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jada Pinkett Smith reprise their roles from previous films in the series, where they are joined by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Christina Ricci.

The film is a joint production by Village Roadshow Pictures and Venus Castina Productions and is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures theatrically on December 22, 2021. It will also stream digitally on the ad-free tier of HBO Max in the United States for a month beginning on that same date.

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process.
