Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Janhit Mein Jaari put on hold due to financial troubles? Director Raaj Shaandilyaa clarifies December 01, 2021 at 11:30AM

In September this year writer-director Raaj Sjaandilyaa announced his next venture titled Janhit Mein Jaari that would feature Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead. Later in November, it was reported that the shoot of the film had been stopped for a while since a few crew members tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Now, we hear that the film has run into some major trouble and has been kept on hold. In fact, as per sources, the makers of Janhit Mein Jaari have run into some serious financial trouble leaving the shoot of the film high and dry. Apparently, this sudden shortage of funds has led to the film being kept on the backburner for now.

However, clarifying whether Janhit Mein Jaari has been shelved or not, writer-director Raaj Sjaandilyaa says that the venture is far from being shelved. “No, nothing like that at all. Our second schedule of the film started on 28, we had paused for a bit in between since some of our crew members wanted to celebrate Diwali. Then there was the shoot for Ram Setu which Nushrratt had committed to. But we are very much still doing the film.” Further talking about the financial backing Janhit Mein Jaari has received Raaj continues, “In fact, we never had any financial issues with Janhit Mein Jaari. There were so many financers we could pick to fund the venture.”

Concluding his clarification about the Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer not being shelved Raaj Shaandilyaa also detailed his release plan saying, “We are looking to finish the shoot schedule by December 15 or 16. Then next year in January we are planning some promotional song and other things with a final release being scheduled for March 2022”

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment.
