Patna abuzz with Rhea Chakraborty’s impending arrest; here are the details from the FIR July 28, 2020 at 09:34PM

With the late and immeasurably missed Sushant Singh Rajput’s father K K Singh filing a detailed FIR against his former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty the case has taken a sharp swerve away from the profusion of conspiracy theories which were swarming the social-media platform.

Besides Rhea, the FIR names five others including Rhea’s parents and brother. In the detailed FIR, of which I have a copy, Sushant’s father makes extremely grave allegations against Rhea and her family under IPC sections 341, 342, 380, 406, 420,306.

Apart from direct and damning charges of misappropriating Sushant’s money and arbitrarily transferring crores of rupees from his account into unknown accounts, Sushant’s father has also alleged that Rhea and her family wouldn’t allow him to speak to his son, that whenever he called her family would stand in the way of his communication with his son.

Sushant’s father reveals that Sushant wanted to practice organic farming in Coorg with his friend Mahesh. But when Rhea came to know this she threw a fit and threatened to expose his health condition to the media.

On Sushant mental health, Sushant father implies that Rhea was responsible for his son’s condition. He also implies in the FIR that Rhea was in cahoots with the doctors whom she had chosen for his treatment.

With news of Sushant’s 74-year old father finally speaking up in the matter of his son’s death, the people of the city want Rhea’s immediate arrest and thorough investigations into Rhea and her family’s alleged complicity in Sushant’s death.

As per the FIR filed by Sushant’s father, the complaint states that a sum of Rs. 15 cr was transferred over a year from his account to hers. The actor’s credit cards and account was also run by Rhea, and that on June 8, Rhea left with Sushant’s cash and jewellery. Besides this the FIR also claims that Rhea was in possession of Sushant’s medical records and was threatening to make them public.

Apart from these allegations the FIR also states Rhea had sacked one of Sushant’s bodyguards, and even has stakes in the late actor’s company. Based on these allegations, Rhea and five other individuals have been booked under IPC Section 306 (Abetment of suicide), Sec 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), Sec 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), Sec 380 (Theft in dwelling house), Sec 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust), and Sec 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).

By the looks of it Rhea might face a tough legal battle ahead.

Irrfan Khan to be seen on the silver screen in 2021 with the release of The Song of Scorpions December 28, 2020 at 07:02PM

Actor Irrfan Khan, who passed away in April this year, will be seen on the silver screen for one last time in 2021. The actor's last film titled The Song of Scorpions will release in theatres next year. The Song of Scorpions was first premiered in 2017 at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. Written and directed by Anup Singh, the film will be released in early 2021. Abhishek Pathak, producer and director at Panorama Spotlight, in a statement said, "We will be offering this film to the audiences as a tribute to the beloved star of Indian cinema.
