John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 to release on November 26 September 26, 2021 at 11:55PM

It's raining announcements for the Hindi film industry! A day after the state government of Maharashtra announced their decision to reopen theatres on October 22, filmmakers of the Hindi film industry have been announcing the release dates of their films. Late on Sunday night, the makers of Satyameva Jayate 2 announced that their film will be released on November 26, 2021.

Making the announcement, the makers wrote, "Do Takke Ki Jaan lene 56 inch ka JIGARAA nahi, 56 inch ka HATHODA chaahiye!” #SatyamevaJayate2 releasing on 26th November 2021".


Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film stars John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar. It was initially supposed to be released on May 13 along with Salman Khan's Radhe-Your Most Wanted Bhai. However, their schedule got delayed due to the pandemic. The film was wrapped up in June this year.

The movie will feature John in a dual avatar. Co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar’s T-Series and Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment, Satyameva Jayate 2 also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Amyra Dastur, Gautami Kapoor, Shaad Randhawa, Sahil Vaid, Anup Soni among others.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14.
