Shweta Tiwari to play a hard-nosed CBI officer in Shukla V/S Tripathi July 28, 2021 at 05:37PM

Actress Shweta Tiwari is currently seen performing daredevil stunts and battling her fears in the adventurous show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. The actress had recently gone through a major physical transformation before participating in the show. The actress will now be seen essaying the role of a tough CBI officer on a new crime series Shukla V/S Tripathi.

Speaking about the show, Shweta said that she is excited to be part of Shukla V/S Tripathi. It will have a thriller with a lot of suspense. The actress has reportedly started shooting for the same. The storyline of the film will be based on the life of a young poet who gets shot on live television. The investigating officer played by Shweta will dig out the truth against all obstacles.

Speaking about her character, Shweta said that the character she is playing is Riddhima Lakha who is a no-nonsense CBI office and cannot be swayed or bribed. In the end, she concluded the note and said that she wishes for the love and support from her fans as she is embarking on a new journey.

Paresh Rawal replaces Rishi Kapoor and resumes shoot for Sharmaji Namkeen June 30, 2021 at 04:06PM

As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. According to a daily, Paresh Rawal has resumed the shoot for an important sequence at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai which also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The team along with Paresh Rawal will shoot for a week-long schedule, after which the movie will wrap up and go for the post-production process. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise August 29, 2020 at 12:33PM

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. The witnesses are: Siddharth Pithani (flat mate), Neeraj (house help), Keshav (cook) and housekeeper Deepesh Sawant. All four told the CBI that on the night of June 13, Sushant spent his time alone in his room. Deepesh Sawant was the first person to wake up on June 14. He told the investigating officers that on the night of 13th, Sushant refused to have dinner and asked for a mango shake.
