While the very decorous Shilpa Shetty has chosen the path of a dignified silence in this whole sordid mess involving her husband Raj Kundra in a porn racket. Sources close to the actress say she is “worried sick” about her children, 9-year old Viaan and Shamisha who is barely 1 year old.

As rumours of her imminent arrest gather momentum, Shilpa Shetty worried about her children

As rumours of her imminent arrest gather momentum, Shilpa’s worries grow. A producer-director very close to Shilpa and her family reveals, “She is a strong woman with very strong family values. This (scandal) has hit her like a bolt from the blue. She never thought something so awful would ever happen to her. Now she’s bracing herself for the worst. If it happens she’s only worried about her two children”

Throughout this ongoing ordeal Shilpa’s mother Sunanda Shetty and sister Shamita have stood by her.

“They are a rock-solid presence in Shilpa’s life. She would have crumbled without them. But she is holding up strongly in spite of the lack of support from her own fraternity, thanks to her mother and sister who are right there by her side,” says the movie moghul who has worked with the actress in the past.

The beginning of a new year brings a lot of positivity and hope, and also ushers in the awards season. However, 2021 might be an exception in this regard. The Coronavirus pandemic has led to a lot of change in the status quo of all fields and Bollywood is no exception. With the disease still not in control, the battle against the virus will continue in 2021 as well. And this would mean the awards ceremony, televised to a million viewers globally, might not happen at all. A source claims, “The major award shows like Filmfare Awards, Screen Awards, Zee Cine Awards etc might not take place in 2021. These ceremonies involve celebrities from all walks of lives congregating in huge numbers at a particular venue. In times of social distancing, that won’t be a practical thing to do. And most importantly, there have hardly been any releases in 2020. After March 13, there has been no major release in the post-lockdown period. Only Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari released in this season and a couple of ...

Aditya Chopra plans Yash Chopra bio-pic starring Shah Rukh Khan October 01, 2020 at 11:30AM

As Yash Raj Films clocks 50 years of excellence and supremacy, the scion of the empire Aditya Chopra and his intellectual team has come together to thresh out a string of commemorative projects including a grand bio-pic on the founding father of the banner Yash Chopra. Though not much detail is known of the bio-pic as yet I have reason to believe Aditya Chopra is very seriously looking into the project, as he and all likeminded fans of Yash Chopra believe the filmmaker’s saga of self-motivated success is exemplary. And who better qualified to play Yash Chopra than Shah Rukh Khan? Though the casting is yet to be finalized SRK seems the perfect fit, being the favourite actor of father Yash and son Aditya Chopra. Other commemorative projects to mark 50 years of Yash Raj include new film projects that will launch new talent. Aditya Chopra has always been at the forefront of new-talent endeavours. Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra are among Chopra’s recent discoveries. “We will be seei...
